PACIFIC NORTHWEST CELEBRATION AND ROAST ON NOVEMBER 16 2008 Lewis County Washington and El Patron' restaurant host living tribute for one of the areas most famous celebrities, Mr. David Shriver. David, who worked and recorded with the late Eddy Cochran and then later became the musical arranger for Latin-Pop sensation Trini Lopez. David is known throughout the Pacific Northwest of the USA where he is always in at least three bands or orchestras at a time. The Johnny Lewis Swing Band, The Olympia Symphony and David's own rock group, The Rock-Its are among his recent musical endeavors. He also occasionally appears with Rich Wetzel and the Groovin' Higher Orchestra and numerous other combos. In this life few of us will ever have the opportunity to say that we knew The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and so many of the icons who helped shape this world of music and the entertainment business as we now know it. Just knowing David Shriver as a friend is a great joy, as he treats everyone in his life as though they were royalty and as significant as any other he has known. This November sixteenth hundreds of people, some famous and others on the " A " list all gathered for a great time celebrating the professional life and times of Mr. Shriver.
